In the Handicraft yard, both adults and children can spend time crafting before and between the concerts. 
Workshops are for a fee.

The Dance House starts at midnight and is full of vibrant, energetic music, guaranteed to get everyone dancing! From Thursday to Saturday, various wonderful folk musicians take the stage and play dance music for four hours. Come and dance!

SAKALA CHAT STAGE
The valley of St. John's Church

At the festival, you often encounter the same people every few hours. Even if you don't know them personally or speak to them, they start to feel like old friends. Some faces are already familiar from before. Sakala finds well-known festival goers, puts a microphone under their nose and asks them why they keep coming back to the Viljandi Folk Music Festival.
